History.


It's a word that's been on my mind fof a number of reasons, both public and private, in recent months. For myself it's been because of the second visit with the original group of pesky kids; the Pevensies', that last romp with Dr. Jones and last but by no means least the 10th anniversary of my first posted story to the internet and the resulting recruitment into the TGS writing group(raising a glass in thanks to my patrons Lady Morgan and Mr. Sobotka). For the world close by it's been because of the anniversaries over the summer and the four prominent losses in recent weeks to the entertainment industries.

The world just passed into Autumn; a time of change in nature. It will also once more be a time of opportunity when new pages will be written into history. Hopefully it will be a time of benefit to many instead of continuing to be good for only a greedy few.

History. We are it's shapers and it's servants. Events near and far affect us, changing our world and the way we perceive it. We all have our own parts to play in the grand scheme of things; lines to be scrawled on the pages of times to come. I have with great feeling contributed a bit here, as have all of you too left your marks in this fantastic menagerie. Hopefully someday those yet to come will look on the the pages regarding how we added to the world; both in art and in other circles, and think favorably about the history we wrote.
